However, sometimes, language gets in the way of communication.

The language we use is “North American English” (mixed Canadian and American). As such, some of the terms may not be familiar to non-residents of North America.

FAQ: WHAT ARE LICENSE TERMS FOR KamaHapa PRODUCTS?

Ahead is an image sample of the STANDARD LICENSE information delivered with downloaded fonts, except customized Portrait Fonts and Apps such as games.  The exception for Potrait Fonts is that they bear an image as well as a name that is supplied by the purchaser, thus making such fonts personal.  Portrait Fonts conform to a shared license regimen between the purchaser and KamaHapa, where the purchaser owns the copyright to images supplied and KamaHapa owns the copyright to the template and orchestration needed to create such a personal font. 

As well, licensing for KamaHapa Apps varies depending on the attributes of the content on display as well as the hosting environment:  For example, hosted apps will have different licensing from downloaded apps.  Different operating systems (platforms) tend to require unique licensing regimens as well, so the licensing for apps in particular will vary from platform to platform. 

Some KamaHapa digital content is accessible from other hosting sites where KamaHapa must comply with the terms and conditions of the host.  Some digital content, such as fonts, are defined differently from containers of fonts, for example: in the case that a KamaHapa app uses a KamaHapa font, the former (the app) becomes the container for the latter (the font).  In such a scenario, the font license changes (is different) on account of the fact that the container is under the broader license regimen of the containing app, i.e. the font is subject to the license of the KamaHapa app in which it is contained.  Now if KamaHapa was to own a hosting site for the app, the licencing regimen for the font is further augmented, i.e. KamaHapa font contained in a KamaHapa app that is contained in a KamaHapa host.

All the above said, in keeping  up with technology and legislative changes around the world, and especially in Canada where KamaHapa is a registered business, then the KamaHapa licensing regimen is subject to commensurate changes.

FAQ: HOW ARE ORDER ISSUES ADDRESS FOR KamaHapa PRODUCTS?

When purchasing KamaHapa products (i.e. Cart), you will see notifications containing clarifications along the order process. The notifications appear on-screen as you step through the order process. Some details are required to be able to fulfill your order. For example, payment information is a requirement to fulfill your order.

Digital product orders are fulfilled by automated on-screen notification that contain a link for downloading the product. In addition, if the customer completes the email detail on the order form, an email notification is automatically forwarded as a contingency check, in case the customer has queries. The automated email notice will include a KamaHapa forwarding email in the event a customer has queries; for example, “How do I Install a Font?”

 

FAQ: WHAT IS THE REFUND POLICY FOR KamaHapa PRODUCTS?

Physical Products Can be refunded. Physical products are items ordered that are shipped to a physical building address (with a postal code or a zip code). However, KamaHapa would first like to have the opportunity to discuss why with the customer.

Digital Products are Not Refunded. KamaHapa does Not Refund Digital Products because KamaHapa treats digital products much like downloading digital music from any online store . . . There are no refunds for digital downloads. As many users of the internet already know, a download is automatically deemed a consumed product. KamaHapa digital products abide by that same principle, that is; “Consumed upon Download.”

 

FAQ: HOW ARE BUGS (FLAWS) ADDRESSED FOR KamaHapa PRODUCTS?

Although KamaHapa does not accept refunds for digital products, repair of custom-made digital products can be done when a customer initiates a bug (error or flaw) repair request using the KamaHapa email provided at the bottom of the KamaHapa website pages. Title the email “Bug Repair Request.”

 

Sometimes, KamaHapa finds the bugs and performs the repairs as part of a future upgrade cycle for digital products. KamaHapa gladly accepts such information about bugs. The repairs to errors or flaws will then become part of an upgrade cycle. As well, bona fide informants with verifiable information on bugs will have the opportunity to get the upgrade free of charge.

 

FAQ: CAN I TRUST MAKING PAYMENTS ON THIS SITE?

KamaHapa utilizes the platform and apps that are hosted by Shopify which has attained a global reputation for high quality and secure services. Read what Fortune Magazine said about Shopify @ https://fortune.com/2015/05/20/shopify-ipo-pricing/ . The Shopify payments apps offer a selection of world-class payment processors, like PayPal which KamaHapa presents to customers at the time of completing an order.

KamaHapa does not build payment apps. KamaHapa does not fix, alter or package payment apps either. Rather, KamaHapa researches the best-of-the-best on Shopify host and that is what is presented to the customer as the order process nears completion. Every KamaHapa web page displays the payment options at the bottom of the page.

 

FAQ: WHERE CAN I GET REFERENCES ABOUT KamaHapa PRODUCTS?
